Tying the Knot

There’s a reason you want to invest in your wedding photography. You don’t want to just look back on photos of you and your family standing at the front of the church, you want to look back on the love, emotion and the details that made up your day. As your photographer, I look forward to being able to document that day so that you can have a complete picture to look back on. Most of all, I look forward to getting to know you and having fun so that your photos will show your personalities and love for each other.

While I do document the events of the day, I try to capture the love story behind it. So, on one hand I work like a photojournalist, shooting scenes that take place before me… on the other hand I work more like a fine art photographer, placing people in scenes or situations. I use experience and creativity, to capture beautiful photos; I will instruct you when necessary, to get the shot; and I will be there to document, without getting in the way.

I’m doing something that I love, I invest a lot of time into each shoot and take care in editing each photo. I look forward to hearing your story and seeing if I’m the right photographer for you. Email me @ photographymary@gmail.com to find out more.

There are several wedding packages, each including a different amount of total coverage time. Full coverage packages average $2500 and include an engagement session, print credit to be used towards professionally printed photos and/or an album, a disc of high resolution images and more! Please contact me for full details.

Engagement sessions are similar to portrait sessions in cost and time, and are included in some wedding packages. They are perfect for me to get to know you and your sense of style if I am shooting your wedding, and as a precursor the wedding day it also allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera. I think the best thing about an engagement session is opportunity to capture the personalities of you and your fiancé in creative photographs. Wedding photos will always have their place, but few people have professional photos that show who they are outside of that day, and before you start your life together as husband and wife.
