To say that Vince + Kim are fun… doesn’t do them justice. Of course if you know them, you know what I’m talking about – but for everyone else I guess I’ll have to let the pictures speak for themselves. Actually I’m going to help them out by giving them a sound track. Go HERE and let this play while looking through the photos, since this seemed to be the theme song at the reception. I documented their Buffalo wedding on a beautiful – and thankfully not too hot – summer day and it really was great to be a part of.
Things started off at the church where everyone made the final preparations in getting ready before the ceremony began. The guys arrived first and I met them as Pete was making the important decision of whether or not to wear leather pants.

Chad was a helpful best man and made sure everything was done right on Vince’s tux. Kim and the girls showed up and then they went to work helping Kim get ready as well as putting finishing touches on everyone’s hair an makeup.

Kim’s dress was gorgeous, and hanging in front of the huge window showed it off in the light. Thankfully Kaylan was at the wedding to assist me and had the difficult job of standing on a chair that was on a table to get this up there. So the answer is yes, don’t be surprised when I suggest hanging your dress in front of a window, off a chandelier, etc…

It was finally time for things to begin, and after the guys took their places Vince rolled the aisle runner down to prepare for his bride!

The beautiful ceremony soon was over and Kim and Vince walked out husband and wife. People gathered outside of the church to give them a send off with bubbles… which were a hot commodity with the kids.

We then headed out to UB’s campus for a change of scenery for some photos. I can’t help but make this group into a panoramas and this first one has so much personality. Everyone is doing something different so you really need to see it closer.

how’s that for excitement? Vince and Kim, I would recommend using your print credit on a canvas of this… but it’s up to you guys. Next it was time for just some photos of the bride and groom… and if I could give advice to anyone planning a wedding, it would be to set aside time for something like this. You often don’t realize how long it will take to leave the church, get the reception, and take pictures in between so it’s important to plan ahead. Of course, an easier way is to do a “first look” where you see each other before the ceremony, but I understand not everyone want’s to give up the “shock value” (as a friend of mine put it :] ) that you get walking down the aisle.
anyways, Vince and Kim had enough time to take some great pictures at these columns on the UB campus which were some fun architectural elements to work with.

They then met up with the bridal party and celebrated with their “something blue”

When they made it to the reception, it was time to celebrate and everyone was ready to do so.

After cutting the cake they sneaked a little more because it was so good! haha I love it.

Vince and Kim warmed up the dance floor and it just kept getting hotter.

I can hear everyone belting “living on a prayer” when I just look at these photos… by the way, how is the song doing for those of you who added it as a soundtrack? To Kim, Vince, their families + friends – it was great to be a part of the wedding and I hope you enjoy looking back at the day through the photos. Beautiful! All of it! Kim is a beautiful person inside and out and she seems so happy with Vince.
PS – The soundtrack was the perfect length after I clicked until the time I finished reading!

Love this story. Your best yet. Seriously. The bubbles, the columns, the dancing. Loved seeing this through your lens, made me feel like I was there.
